  DiscSox DiscGuard Instructions

DiscSox Information

1. Place the applicator base on a flat surface and use it to clean CD/VCD with DiscSox Cleaning solution and polish if necessary. It is crucial that the CD/VCD is free of any dust, fingerprints or hand moisture.

2. Take a single DiscGuard and peel the clear film from the white paper backing. Do not touch the film's surface and grab only by the edges.

3. Place the film on the applicator base with the surface that was facing the white paper backing facing up. Make sure that the film is held in place by the raised center of the applicator base.

4. Hold CD/DVD by the outer edge and place on applicator base with playing surface facing the down (printed side is facing up)

5. Apply slight pressure on the disc with your fingers especially to the outer edge and center. This will assure that the DiscGuard will adhere firmly to the CD/VCD.

6. Remove CD/VCD with DiscGuard from the base and visually inspect. Make sure the film is applied evenly and without any pockets of air, moisture or dust. Remove any fingerprints with a soft cloth from the DiscGuard before playing.

7. In case you notice any impurities under the DiscGuard, simply lift the film from the outer edge, clean and reapply.

Note that DiscGuards do not use glue, are made from the same optical grade material as the CD/VCD and thus will never permanently adhere to the disc or leave any residue when removed!
