For those of you who can’t resist a good deal on DVDs, and who haven’t quite made the commitment to Blu-ray, you might want to check out the great prices I found at a Big Lots store.  If you aren’t familiar, Big Lots is a discount chain store that sells brand names at closeout prices with locations all over the US.  I was like a kid in a candy store as I came upon a great selection of DVDs at bargain basement prices.  They were brand new, and ranged from $2 - $3 a DVD!!  The guy standing next to me was purchasing over 25, so of course I couldn’t resist handing him my business card, and told him he should be storing his DVDs in DiscSox DVD Pro sleeves… 

And some of the titles were quite respectable.  I purchased 10 titles, and among them were Cameron Crowe’s romantic comedy, “Singles”; Spike Jonze’s clever comedy, “Adaptation”; for those Christopher Guest fans, “A Mighty Wind“,  and Philip Seymour Hoffman in his Oscar-winning role in “Capote”.   There were also Clint Eastwood, Tom Cruise, Sam Neill titles as well.
